Here's how we make it easy and meaningful for families and children to participate in worship:.gif)
~ Families are encouraged to sit together from the beginning of the service to the Children's Message.
~ Worship Aids: Words of the Lord's Prayer, Gloria Patri and Doxology are printed in the bulletin so children can participate and learn how to pray and sing along with us.
~ Children are welcome to come forward for a Children's Message that makes its point through dialogue and demonstration.
~ At the conclusion of the Children's Message, each child receives a Worship Activity Bag, which they may explore with their parents, or at the supervised Children's Activity Tables at the rear of the sanctuary. The activities in the bag help them connect with the content of the sermon in age-appropriate ways.
~ Children are encouraged to return to their families for the conclusion of the service.
~ Children are welcome at the Lord'sTable when we celebrate Communion. We conduct periodic workshops for the purpose of introducing parents and children to the meaning of this Sacrament.
~ Families with infants are welcome to utilize the cry room located in the back of the sanctuary.
~ Childcare, provided by a trained supervisor and at least one additional adult volunteer, is available for infants and children up to five years of age during the service.
